Supporting Girls Soccer in Urban and Rural Communities
Oklahoma United FC’s UR Initiative is focused on advancing girls public school soccer programs in urban and rural communities. With a $1,000 unrestricted grant, recipient school districts can apply funds however needed to support their girls teams - whether for gear, travel, or training.
We recognize the unique challenges these communities face and are committed to providing direct, flexible support that empowers athletes, coaches, and programs to thrive and grow the game where it’s needed most.
Supporting Girls Soccer in Urban and Rural Communities
Oklahoma United FC’s UR Initiative is focused on advancing girls public school soccer programs in urban and rural communities. With a $1,000 unrestricted grant, recipient school districts can apply funds however needed to support their girls teams - whether for gear, travel, or training.

A Circle of Support
Beyond financial assistance, the UR Initiative includes hands-on, high-quality programming. Each recipient district receives a free one-day summer soccer camp, an in-season team training session, and a collegiate athletic recruitment seminar - all led by Oklahoma United FC players, coaches, and staff.
Our team brings experience from every level of the game, from NCAA Division I to the professional ranks. These sessions aim to develop skills, build confidence, and educate athletes on pathways to collegiate play.
